Rules, Regulations & Fees
|
Please Note:
The CBC is sanctioned by the CGS and the CMGA
and that their respective rules shall govern. |
- All goats must be in their pens on the grounds by
8:30am. Herds may arrive the night before, please
check with show committee before arriving. All tattoos and
registration certificates will be checked.
- Herd Fee - $20.00
Entry Fee - $3.50 per animal for both rings.
Classification Fee - Classification for up to 10
Bucks during the 2010 Buck Classic is FREE to any
exhibitor who pays the Herd Fee. There is no requirement to
enter the animals in either show. $10.00 each, plus the Herd
Fee if entered the day of show. All animals on the grounds
MUST pass a vet check. NO exceptions. All classifying will be
done in a private area away from spectators.
Entries close July 10, 2011.
- The Canadian Buck Classic show is sanctioned by
the Canadian Goat Society, and its rules shall govern.
- Goats must remain on the grounds on the day of the show
until the show is finished.
- All health regulations must be adhered to. No lumps,
open or closed. No contagious diseases. Any goats deemed
unhealthy to show at the Canadian Buck Classic, must be
removed from the show and penning areas immediately. The
decision of the veterinarian or committee of three in good
standing providing the checks is final.
- All Goats must be registered with the Canadian Goat
Society, OR the Canadian Meat Goat
Association; only the original certificate is acceptable for
animals over the age of six (6) months. Animals under the
age of six (6) months must have their papers applied for and
a copy of the application on hand on show date. Base date
for calculating the age of the animal to be shown is
date of show.
- No goat may be shown in more than one class except in
the Championship.
- Herds are requested to be neatly and appropriately
attired when showing their animals in the ring. White
T-shirts and black bottoms will be permitted.
- All Herds are required to supply their own bedding
material and feed.
- There shall be no limit on the number of entries that
may be made by an Herd.
- Cheques payable to "Canadian Buck Classic"
- Note: Any person who
interferes with the judge, or committee in charge, or who
intimidates or discredits the judge or committee, will be
expelled from the show ring immediately. The offender shall
be excluded from exhibiting in the Canadian Buck Classic the
following year. All protests or appeals MUST be made
in writing and must state plainly the cause or complaint,
and shall be presented to the committee on or before 6:00
p.m. on Sunday June 13th 2010. The sum of twenty dollars
shall be deposited with the committee in case of protest or
appeal, the same to become the property of the society if
the appeal is not sustained.
